The day has arrived for us! Our Food Pantry will officially be introduced to the public today, April 17th, at 11am, at its new location at the Harry Browne Airport, 4821 Janes Rd, in Saginaw.
We’ll be occupying the old pilots’ lounge in the historic 1927 hanger, a gift from the kind and caring folks of the Saginaw Valley Air Museum. With the construction of the new terminal building at the airport, they took charge of the old one, and are establishing a museum there to bring to light Saginaw’s contribution to the Aviation world. When they heard of our search for a new location, they didn’t hesitate, but offered us space in their building.
If you’re in the area this morning, please stop by and check us out. The Pantry will be open to view and light refreshments will be available. You can pick up information about our mission and find ways to help us continue to support our very deserving 1% of the population: our military men and women!
